David Fields, PGA, Golf Professional

David, a Class A member of the PGA of America, has been involved in the business and game of golf his entire life. He began playing golf competitively at a young age on the GALV Junior Tour and was an important member of the Parkland High School undefeated dynasty of the mid 1990’s.

David began his path in the golf business by attending the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando, Florida where he studied under top PGA instructors and professionals.

Following graduation of the Golf Academy, David got his first position as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Country Club of Scranton in Clarks Summit, PA. While in Scranton, he developed a strong reputation as an instructor and was responsible for revitalizing both the junior and women’s golf programs.  After four golf seasons in Scranton, David moved on and accepted a position as an Assistant Golf Professional at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, PA. In 2002, David accepted a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Brookside Country Club and has been there ever since.

In the winter months, David would travel to Sarasota, Florida where he worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Meadows Country Club.

As a player, David has had success competing in the Philadelphia Section of the PGA, highlighted by Pro-Am victories and top ten finishes on the local and state wide levels.

David lives in Macungie with his wife Liz and daughters Ellie and Alivia.

Ross Moyer

Ross Moyer has been around the game of golf almost his entire life. He started caddying and working in the outside golf operations here at Brookside at the age of twelve. After graduating from Emmaus High School where he played three years of golf on a highly talented Emmaus High School Golf Team, Ross accepted a position at Brookside as an Assistant Golf Professional. Ross than entered the PGA Program quickly passing his playing ability test, and his first two PGA Schools. Ross then found himself splitting time with Brookside and working three winters at the The Boca West Club in Boca Raton, Fl.  Ross then moved on to work as an assistant golf professional at Allentown Golf Club, where he helped organize golf clinics for both beginner and junior players.  In 1998 Ross returned to Brookside, where he got his start and has worked for the past fourteen seasons.
