Michael Kuebler
As Clubhouse Operations Manager at Brookside Country Club, Michael Kuebler oversees the daily operations, interacts with departments heads, and strives to maintain total member satisfaction. As his first job, Michael was employed by Minsi Trails Council and worked for two summers at Camp Trexler in Kresgeville, firstly in the camp office, then working at the Trading Post. Michael started his employment at Brookside in 1993, first as a bus boy, then as a bartender. After graduating from Emmaus High School in 1994, he continued his education studying Criminal Justice. In 2000 he elevated to management at BCC, accepting a position as Dining Room Manager. In 2004, he became Food and Beverage Manager, and in 2021 Clubhouse Operations Manager. Currently, Mike resides in Emmaus with his wife Jill, a teacher at Emmaus High School, and his daughters Alexandra and Sophia. Michael is also an active member in the Club Manager’s Association of America.
Director of Finance & Administration
Brian King, CHAE, CHTP
Brian is the Director of Finance and Administration at Brookside Country Club. Brian was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. He graduated from Parkland High School. He received his B.S. in Accounting from Bloomsburg University and then his MBA from DeSales University. Brian started his professional career as the Director of Finance at Arts Quest in Bethlehem, PA. He then transitioned into the Club Industry as the Assistant Controller at Saucon Valley Country Club before taking his current position at Brookside Country Club in 2003. Brian has over twenty years experience in the Club Industry/Non Profit sector. He has achieved industry-specific certifications of CHAE (Certifified Hospitality Accounting Executive) and CHTP (Certified Hospitality Technology Professional). Brian currently resides in Macungie with his lovely wife Bevin and their four children, Reilly, Avery, Brady, and Bryce. When not at work Brian enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.
Head Golf Professional
David Fields, PGA
David, a member of the PGA of America, has been involved in the business and game of golf his entire life. He began playing golf competitively at a young age on the GALV Junior Tour and was an important member of the Parkland High School Golf Team. He attended the Golf Academy of the South in Orlando, Florida where he studied under top PGA instructors and professionals. David got his first position as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Country Club of Scranton in Clarks Summit, PA. After four golf seasons in Scranton, David moved on and accepted a position as an Assistant Golf Professional at Silver Creek Country Club in Hellertown, PA. In 2002, David accepted a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Brookside Country Club. As a player, David has had success competing in the Philadelphia Section of the PGA, highlighted by Pro-Am victories and top ten finishes on the local and state wide levels. David lives in Macungie with his wife Liz, and kids Ellie, Alivia, and Jack.

Jamie Siders
Jamie started her career in the Club industry at the age of 19 working under her father, who was the General Manager at the time at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ. She attended County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ for Hospitality Management. Learning all of the fundamentals necessary at Indian Trail Club, she made her next move to Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, PA followed by Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle, NJ, Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA and lastly at The Berkshire Country Club in Reading, PA. Her position at Berkshire as Clubhouse Manager allowed be to be a part of the senior management team and oversee more of the operations of the Club. Jamie is married to her husband Russell and has three amazing children, Sofia, Sawyer, and Myrick. They reside in Emmaus, PA.

Abby Tate
Abby Tate is the Director of Events at Brookside Country Club. She is a 2008 graduate of Saucon Valley High School, a 2012 graduate of Misericordia University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration and is also a Certified Wedding Planner through The Bridal Society. After college, Abby moved to Maryland and started working at The Mansion at Valley Country Club in Towson, Maryland as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. In 2014, Abby started a new position as a Sales & Marketing Manager with Piney Branch Golf Club in Upperco, Maryland. After being away for four years, Abby and her husband, Sam, decided to move closer to family which brought them back to the Lehigh Valley. She is excited to be a part of the Brookside team starting Fall 2016. In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, and also enjoys traveling, going to performances and reading.

Kevin Nagle
Kevin Nagle has been the Executive Chef at Brookside Country Club since 2015. Kevin completed the Chef Apprenticeship Program at Bucks County Community College. He trained under Executive Chef Jim Perrillo and John Mebane. From 2001-2005 Chef Kevin was the Owner/Chef at Owen's Pub in North Wildwood, New Jersey. From there Kevin became the Executive Sous Chef at Peddlers Village from 2005-2007. Before coming to Brookside, Kevin was the Executive Chef at the Cock and Bull Restaurant in Peddlers Village from 2007-2015. In his free time, Kevin loves spending time with his wife Kathy and son Conor. He also enjoys fishing, hiking, playing golf, cooking as well as listening to music, watching the Eagles and the Phillies.

Melissa Welsh
Melissa is the Director of Membership & Communications at Brookside Country Club. She was born and raised in Havertown, PA. Melissa received her Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management from Widener University in 2008. During her time at Widener Melissa, gained club experience working at Merion Cricket Club and Merion Golf Club. After graduating Melissa worked in the hotel sector of the industry and accepted an entry-level position at Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ and from there moved onto the Accounting Department at the Renaissance Hotel in Philadelphia. Melissa transitioned back into the club industry and worked at Llanerch Country Club in Havertown, PA as the Membership Director until 2013 when she accepted her current position at Brookside Country Club. Melissa lives in Quakertown, PA with her husband Kyle and two sons Matthew and Killian.
Golf Course Superintendent
Mel Leaver, Jr.
Mel Leaver Jr. is in his 26th season as Golf Course Superintendent at Brookside Country Club. Mel graduated from Emmaus High School in 1975. He continued his education at Penn State University, and in 1980, received a B.S. degree in Agronomy with a strong background in turfgrass management. During college he gained his practical experience working at Lehigh Country Club and accepted a position of 2nd Assistant following graduation. One year later, he accpeted the position of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Brookside Country Club, working 8 years under Cousre Superintendent Dave Portz. In 1989 he was approached by new ownership to manage the Golf Club at Shepard Hils in Wescosville, PA. The following year, he was hired back as Superintendent at Brookside Country Club to provide a smooth transition during the recent new construction of the clubhouse facility and grow-in-phases of the golf course. Currently, Mel resides in Emmaus, PA with his wife Anita.
Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Ronald Hertzog
Ron Hertzog is the Assistant Grounds Superintendent at Brookside Country Club. He graduated from Emmaus High School in 1978. He started his grounds crew work at Lehigh Country Club. He then graduated from Penn State's Turf Grass Management program in 1985. Ron has been the Superintendent at several country clubs including Heidelberg Country Club in Bernville, PA, Portsmouth Country Club in Greenland, NH, and Bradford Country Club in Haverhill, MA. He has been the Assistant Grounds Superintendent at Brookside Country Club for the past eight years. When he's not on the golf course, Ron enjoys hunting and fishing. He currently lives in Emmaus with his wife Desiree.
Pool Manager
Reilly King
Reilly King is going into her junior year at Siena College in Albany. She is studying History Education and is on the division one swim team. She loves working with kids when it comes to the pool and the classroom. She has been a lifeguard for the past five years in the Lehigh Valley including this past year at Brookside. She loves giving lessons and has taught group and private lessons in the past.
