Golf
Our course, located at the foothills of the picturesque South Mountain, takes full advantage of the area’s gently rolling land with some fine natural hazards, including the Swabia Creek that winds through part of the course. Originally designed by Frank Meehan in 1929, our courses manicured greens offers golfers of all skill levels a challenging round.
Members of Brookside Country Club enjoy a number of golf amenities including year-round, 18 holes of championship golf, a first-class driving range, and short-game practice areas.
Brookside boasts a comprehensive competition schedule for men, women, and juniors of all ages and abilities. The Club hosts a very active golf events season beginning April through November which includes Spring Men’s and Women’s Twilight Leagues, Women’s 9 and 18 Hole Leagues, Club Championships, Member Guests, as well as social and holiday competition. Brookside is a member of the Golf Association of Philadelphia and competes in interclub competition throughout our section.

Whether it is the full swing, putting, chipping, bunker play, or course management, our members instruction is customized to their needs and is available to players of all ability levels for men, women, and juniors.
Our fully stocked Pro Shop offers golfers a place to browse the latest in golfing gear and consult with our professionals. We carry the most sought-after brands in clubs, apparel, shoes, and accessories. The Pro Shop also offers top-notch club repair.
Brookside supports local schools and are proud to be the “home” golf course for Emmaus High School and the DeSales University Golf teams.
Golf Outings at Brookside
Brookside Country Club plays host to numerous corporate and charitable golf outings each year. Whether you are engaging prospects, entertaining customers, or stimulating new business, Brookside Country Club is uniquely qualified to create an unforgettable experience for you and your participants.
We are pleased to host outings for businesses and organizations including Muhlenberg College, DeSales University, GLVCC Krajsa Cup, Mercy School for Special Learning, Boy Scouts of America, and more.
Customs & Courtesies
Proper attire is required on Club property at all times. Men’s shirts must have sleeves and a collar (mock collars are permitted) and must be tucked in at all times. Shorts are permitted providing they are not more than 4” above the knee. Caps must be worn facing forward.
Women’s tops must either have sleeves or a collar (mock collars are permitted). Shorts and skorts are permitted provided the are not more than 4” above the knee.
We have a locker room available upon arrival. Changing of clothing and shoes in the parking lot is prohibited. Brookside is a soft spike facility.
Out of respect for members and their guests, please use discretion with the use of cell phones.
Golfers are expected to complete their round in 4 hours or less for 18 holes or 2 hours or less for 9 holes. Players should maintain their position on the golf course at all times.
Smoking is permitted on the golf course and other areas designation around the Clubhouse.
Tipping is permitted throughout the Club.
